LIFE SKILLS CENTER

CONCRETE
ROSE
Our girl groups will meet once a week for half an hour and one Saturday a month. Within these meetings we will discuss positive body images, how to be financially smart, peer pressure, financial literacy training, bullying, social etiquette, social media’s Do’s and Don’ts, the importance of not taking drugs, starting to think of life after high school and what they can do now to achieve their long term goals.
The purpose of our life skills portion is to conduct programs that will empower the community. We have several different programs for parents and guardians which will help strengthen the person who is taking the class. Also, will strengthen the family dynamic as well. We have programs from leadership training, employment resources and a variety of other helpful programs that will inspire and empower the community of Detroit.
